Then they need to get an early goal. Its always been levelled at us that if the visiting team can get ahead it silences the crowd and gets us agitated. We have to play to avoid that. After all we know most teams will try to do it.

Given comments about how we play better away from 'the hotpoint', we've had this before. Seasons where we play better away from home do emerge and suggest that it isn't the stadium, but US. We are, as is indicated by the slagging off some players regularly receive, a massive part of the problem.
We need to support our team - yes, they also need to put in a shift, unlike both City games - not sit their in mute misery waiting to be 'entertained'.
We need to fill that bowl with noise and we have. The Palace game being an example of raising it against less than top class opposition. It's easy to cheer if you're winning against the big boys but plodding along against the also rans is where we need to be making noise.
We've all heard players booed at the Boleyn, players who are our own. Yes, Nolan was as slow as a Thames barge and had a similar turning circle and waistline but did it help to boo? Handing it out to opponents, fine. But to our own? If you can't cheer, don't fucking go.
As for the match, their goal still looked offside.

Agree about Fegs, he is improving and can put a decent cross in, but I would rather Lanzini have started or Fernandes as better all round players for me.
Fernandes although still very young looks like he will become a top player to me.
